Did Priyanka Chopra forget to invite Deepika for her engagement?

Bollywood’s desi girl Priyanka Chopra has made her relationship with American pop singer Nick Jonas official after a Roka ceremony. After the traditional ceremony, she also held an engagement bash for her close friends and family last night. The ‘Quantico’ star had invited all her near and dear ones from the industry including ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ co-star Ranveer Singh, but apparently forgot to invite Ranveer’s alleged girlfriend Deepika Padukone.

Rumors abound in Bollywood circle that Priyanka missed out Ranveer’s alleged girlfriend Deepika’s name from the guest list and the duo is not really happy about it.

As per a report in DNA, “Deepika has always been supportive of Priyanka and she would have definitely gone to wish her if she was invited. In fact, everyone knows Ranveer and DP are a couple and will walk down the altar this November. So, it’s odd that PC left Dippy’s name out of her guest list. Who does that? Why would you invite one half of a couple and leave the other one out?”

Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra had played Ranveer Singh’s love interests in ‘Bajirao Mastani’ in which Deepika essayed the titular role of Mastani while Priyanka was Kashibai. The duo had also appeared on Karan Johar’s much loved chat show ‘Koffee With Karan’ together. They have always indicated that the two share a friendly equation therefore, it came as a bit of a surprise that PeeCee missed out on inviting Deepika for her special day, though she invited Ranveer.

So did Priyanka actually forget to invite Deepika Padukone to her engagement? We shall wait for the Desi Girl’s statement.
