Ranveer Singh shares wifey Deepika Padukone’s reaction to ‘Gully Boy’s teaser

Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Gully Boy’ trailer is unveiled today and during the trailer launch, the actor talked about his wife Deepika’s reaction to his film’s teaser. While interacting with the media, the ‘Simmba’ actor revealed that wifey Deepika told him that she is very proud of his performance.

This is not the first time Deepika is commenting on her hubby’s performance. Earlier she appreciated Ranveer after watching him in ‘Simmba’. At a promotional event of ‘Simmba’ when Ranveer was asked about Deepika’s reaction to its trailer, he said, “She had seen some rushes. She doesn’t react much on anything in life. But when the screen went off, she looked at me and said ‘hot lag raha hai’.”

At the trailer launch of ‘Gully Boy’, Ranveer also said that he will have a solo show for the rap that he has prepared for Deepika. Aww! that’s so sweet of Ranveer.

Coming to ‘Gully Boy’, Ranveer has nailed it in the trailer and along with him, the rap is the highlight of the film. The movie has eighteen songs in the album among which two are poems. Ranveer is playing the role of a rapper and talking about his memories in the film, he said, “To be around the rappers themselves and the legends was one of the fondest memories I will hold.”

Backed by Excel Entertainment & Tiger Baby, ‘Gully Boy’ is helmed by Zoya Akhtar and is slated to release on February 14, 2019.
