Deepika to romance Varun in Shoojit Sircar’s ‘October’?

Just a couple of days ago, Varun Dhawan posted a few pictures of himself on his Instagram account, with Shoojit Sircar and announced his next with the director which is titled as ‘October’. Well, the movie is said to be a rom-com, and now, according to a leading tabloid, Deepika Padukone will be starring opposite Varun in the film.

Deepika and Shoojit have worked together in ‘Piku’ for which the actress had received many awards. Well, it is said that though the film is a rom-com, the leading lady won’t be having much to do in the film. However, Deepika is ready to do the film as she feels that ‘Piku’ is one of the best films she has done.

On his Instagram account Varun had posted, “I have been an ardent fan of Shoojit da’s work and have always wanted to work with him. The film is titled October. Soojit da Ronnie and Juhi have always made good cinema Im very lucky to get a chance to work with them.” [sic]

While talking about Shoojit and the film to a daily, Varun had stated, “I am definitely very happy and excited. What’s amazing about him is that he is very sure about his vision. I have met him just now, so I am trying to get into that world, understand it. And the way the film is going to breathe and feel. Talking about ‘October’, Shoojit had said, “It’s again an out-of-the-box kind of story. We started working on this film’s idea, which came from a small newspaper clipping, right before ‘Piku’ (2015).”

We are sure fans of Deepika and Varun are quite excited to watch then on the big screen together.
