On November 9, 2007, two Bollywood films had released, ‘Om Shanti Om’ and ‘Saawariya’. While the former marked the debut of Deepika Padukone, the latter was also the first film of Sonam Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor. Well, ‘Om Shanti Om’ became a hit and ‘Saawariya’ turned out to be a disaster.
However, now history is all set to repeat itself. Actresses Sonam Kapoor and Deepika Padukone are all set to clash at the box office once again, and that too exactly after a decade. On January 25, 2018, Sonam Kapoor-starrer ‘PadMan’ and Deepika Padukone-starrer ‘Padmavat’ will be hitting the screens.
While in 2007, Sonam was in a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film, this time it is Deepika. This clash is surely an interesting one as two actresses who had clashed at the box office 10 years ago are all set to clash once again.
Well, last time it was Deepika who had won the box office battle, let’s see who wins this time. (Also Read: Padmavat: CBFC chief Prasoon Joshi clears the air about demanding 300 cuts in the film)
