Delhi Court stays release of ‘Ram Leela’

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Ram Leela’ has been hitting one snag after the other and now it seems that the Delhi High Court has restrained the filmmaker from releasing his movie. The reason being given is that it hurts the religious sentiment of Hindus for its high content of S** and violence.

According to sources, The Delhi High Court had earlier refused to ban the movie but now additional district judge AS Jayachandra, in an ex-part interim order, restrained Bhansali from releasing the movie till further orders.

Seems like the protests against the portrayal of Rajput community might actually get a ban implemented on the movie in Saurashtra. The protest is limited to Saurashtra. There are no issues in North, Central and South Gujarat.
