Details of Kapil Sharma and Ginni Chatrath’s Mumbai wedding reception look are out

Newlyweds Kapil Sharma and Ginni Chatrath are hosting their grand wedding reception in Mumbai today. The couple made an ethereal entry at the reception venue tonight, and we are sure you all must be wanting to know the details of their outfits.

Kapil Sharma and Ginni Chatrath’s wedding outfits were designed by the ace fashion designers of Bollywood, Rimple and Harpreet Narula. These designers are known for designing one of the most liked costumes for the film ‘Padmaavat’, which starred Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor in the lead roles. The designer duo also had designed the couple’s wedding outfit.

Rimple and Harpreet Narula said in a statement to the IndiaToday, “Punjabi brides, as well as grooms for that matter, have a deep-rooted sense of pride and love for the rich cultural heritage of the region and are keen on imbibing the same in their wedding trousseau. Kapil and Ginni were a pleasure to dress“.

talking about Kapil’s outfit, Rimple said, “For Kapil, we have made a classic black silk bandhgala jacket paired with a pair of slim cut pants. The jacket features tonal resham thread embroidery. The look will be finished off with a pair of bespoke embroidered shoes”. 

“Ginni’s reception lehenga will be a lavish ode to an archival 18th century European Chintz textile from our personal collection. The lehenga is paired with a sequin-encrusted corset and wispy tulle dupatta,” the designer duo added.
