Dev Anand birth anniversary: Rishi Kapoor pays tribute to the evergreen star

True cinephiles all over the nation are celebrating the 97th birth anniversary of the late iconic actor Dev Anand. Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor too paid a tribute to the legendary actor and style icon Dev Anand on his birthday.

Taking to his Twitter handle, Rishi shared a few pictures with Dev Anand. Sharing his thoughts on the late actor’s birthday, Kapoor wrote, “Salute to the evergreen star Dev Anand Sahab on his 97th Birthday. Never a style Icon and a young at heart like him. Just after Bobby’s release(1973) he told me at the magazine’s party “We youngsters should do a film together” Such was his confidence. God Bless you, sir!(sic)”

Dev Anand is indeed one of the greatest and most successful actor we saw in the Hindi film industry. Born on September 26, 1923, Dev Anand breathed his last on 3rd December 2011.

He has given us some gem of films like ‘CID’, ‘Jewel Thief ‘, ‘Guide’ and ‘Taxi Driver’. He will forever remain in everyone’s heart and will be remembered for his effortless charm and versatility.
