Dia Mirza is back on the sets to start shooting for her next project

It was right before the lockdown that Dia Mirza was seen in Anubhav Sinha’s Thappad, playing the role of a strong single mother. After that, the actress did an episodic arc in the web series Call My Agent: Bollywood, recreating the same magic that she does every time she appears on screen. Now, Dia Mirza is all set to get back to work and yesterday she shared some glimpses from the set of her next as well.

Dia took to her Instagram stories to share some pictures from the sets of her next project. The first picture was of her vanity van with the name ‘Uzma’ written on its window. She wrote with it, “A new journey begins. Day 1. (sic)” In the second picture, Dia shared the photo of the script on a table and with it she wrote, “Can’t wait to tell you more. (sic)” The visually appealing pictures of the day and night sky from the location that Dia shared, hints that she is shooting in a very picturesque location.

In the last two years, Dia had quite a few big developments in her personal life as well. In February 2021 she got married to husband Vaibhav Rekhi and two months later they announced that they were expecting their first baby together. In July, she announced that she gave birth prematurely to son Avyaan Azaad Rekhi on May 14 and he was in NICU for 2 months. The actress also has a step-daughter Samaira Rekhi from Vaibhav’s first marriage and now, the whole family is quite healthy and a perfect example of a happy family. On the professional front, Dia has been continuing her work towards the betterment of the environment.
