Dia Mirza, Jimmy Shergill, Siddharth and Abhay Varma to headline Netflix series based on Operation Safed Sagar – Report

Dia Mirza and Jimmy Shergill have worked together in Pati Patni Aur Woh, Prateeksha, Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd., Hum Tum Aur Ghost and Lage Raho Munna Bhai. Now, as per the latest reports, the two have joined hands along with Siddharth and Abhay Varma for an upcoming Netflix series.

As per the report of Rahul Raut, Operation Safed Sagar is based on a pivotal mission conducted by the Indian Air Force (IAF) during the 1999 Kargil War. The series will chronicle the bravery and strategic brilliance of the Indian Armed Forces, showcasing precision airstrikes and collaborative efforts between the IAF and the Indian Army. It is directed by Oni Sen, known for Asur and produced by Matchbox Shots. The shooting of the series has already commenced.

Jimmy Sheirgill is known for his versatility in projects like Lage Raho Munna Bhai, Tanu Weds Manu, Your Honor and more. While Dia has impressed audiences with her performances in Rehnaa Hai Tere Dil Mein, Sanju, and Thappad.

Abhay Verma was last seen in Munjya and The Family Man and Siddharth, best known for his work in south films and Rang De Basanti.
