Dia Mirza shares the first picture of son Avyaan; Thanks doctors for taking ‘timely care’ of him

Dia Mirza, who recently welcomed a baby boy, took to her Instagram to share the first picture of her son Avyaan. The actress shared a black and white sketched picture of herself and her newborn baby. In the photo, we can see Dia warmly hugging the baby and wrote a long post sharing how finally she welcomed him home after four months. The baby boy was born premature and was under observation in NICU.

She wrote, “Our story has only just begun Avyaan15.09.2021. We are deeply grateful to many good people who took very good care of you Avyaan in the first 4 months of your life. Dr. Hari, Dr.Jui, Dr. Pradeep, Dr.Anish and all the nurses and @suryahospitals under the able leadership of Dr.Awasthi and Dr.Kabra We will be forever grateful for the care and love you received from all of them.Dr. Nozer and Rajneet our baby is finally home And this would not have been possible without your response and timely care. A lifetime of gratitude to you. Avyaan, you have taught us humility, grace, and power of prayer. Stay blessed baby. You complete us in every way. All our family and friends this time would not have been half as comforting without your strength and prayers. Thank YOU all. You know who you are. Have to add, to all the parents out there who are coping with their premies being in NICU, love, strength and prayers for you and your little ones.”

For the unversed, Dia Mirza got married to Vaibhav Rekhi on February 15 in a private ceremony. The couple went to the Maldives for their honeymoon and announced that they are expecting their first baby together. In the month of May, they turned parents to Avyaan Azaad Rekhi.

The actress was recently in the news when she wished luck to her ex-husband Sahil Sangha. She shared the logo of Shahil’s newly launched Madiba Entertainment which is a production house and wrote “Roar,” followed by a lion emoji. For the unversed, Dia Mirza and Sahil Sangha had earlier worked together as business partners and started a production house named Born Free Entertainment. They produced films such as Love Breakups Zindagi and Bobby Jasoos under the banner. She had married film producer and writer Sahil Sangha on October 18, 2014. However, five years later, Dia announced her separation from Sahil.
