Dia Mirza shares throwback pics from pregnancy days as she pens a heartfelt note for son Avyaan

Dia Mirza and her husband, Vaibhav Rekhi welcomed their first child, son Avyaan Azaad Rekhi last year. Since then, the actress has often spoken about her little one. She even shares pictures, giving a glimpse of her son. Dia on Friday shared a flashback post. She posted some throwback pictures on Flashback Friday, from her pregnancy days. The actress penned a long note in the caption of the post. Dia Mirza, in her note, thanked her son Avyaan Azaad for teaching her the ‘power of love’.

In the pictures, Dia is clicked with the sun setting in the background. She looks breath-taking as she flashes a million-dollar smile for the camera. The photos show Dia flaunting her little baby bump in a blue and white floral maxi dress. One picture shows Dia enjoying the sunset. The actress shared the pictures and mentioned they were clicked by her husband, Vaibhav Rekhi. She revealed the photos are from the time when she was four months pregnant with son Avyaan.

Dia said becoming a mother is the best gift nature has given her. She mentioned that every moment is filled with light and joy. The actress thanked her son Avyaan for choosing her and holding on strong. She called Avyaan ‘love’ and thanked her little one for ‘teaching her the power of love’.

Sharing the pictures, Dia Mirza wrote, “Becoming a mother is the best gift nature gave me Every moment has been filled with light and joy!”

She added, “From the time i first discovered i was pregnant, to every single moment since… natures force has revealed itself to me in the most magical ways. And no, it wasn’t easy going through the trauma of a extremely premature delivery and subsequent complications.”

Dia continued, “But, the faith that you chose me Avyaan Azaad to be your mother was unshakable even when we went through our challenges. Thank you for choosing me my precious. Thank you for holding on so strong. Thank you for teaching me the power of love. You are love. #FlashbackFriday to a time when i was 4 months pregnant.”

Meanwhile, Dia Mirza and Vaibhav Rekhi welcomed son was born on May 14, last year. The actress had shared a post and informed everyone about his birth.
