After playing a runaway bride in ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’ last year, Diana Penty is all set to show us her serious side in her upcoming flick ‘Lucknow Central’. The actress will be playing the role of an NGO worker in the movie.
The movie is being produced by Nikkhil Advani and talking about why he roped in Diana for the role, the filmmaker said, “Diana is a talented and versatile actress and is known for her interesting choice of roles and films. She brings with her an element of quiet strength that lends itself well to the character we want her to portray.”
The actress added, “I’ve always wanted to be part of stories that I feel strongly about and ‘Lucknow Central’ is one such story. I instantly took to it when Nikhil Advani told me about it. ‘Lucknow Central’ also stars Farhan Akhtar and it is about a few jail inmates who form a band in prison with the help of Diana’s character.
