Did Kartik Aaryan take an indirect jibe at Koffee With Karan?

Kartik Aaryan is currently riding high on the success of his latest release Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The actor is winning hearts with his acting skills and groove. Kartik Aaryan is also known for his sense of humour and tongue-in-cheek retorts. He has done the same once again. In a recent interview, fans feel he has taken an indirect jibe at Koffee With Karan.

It so happens that Kartik has found direct or indirect mention on the show’s ongoing 7th season twice. The first time it was Ranveer Singh
who had mentioned and mimicked Kartik. In the second episode, it was Karan Johar and Sara Ali Khan.  Karan had stated that Kartik and Sara dated each other. He had further asked Sara Ali Khan why her ex is her ex, and she said, “He’s everybody’s ex.”

In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, Kartik Aaryan was asked about one thing he is extremely proud of. To which, the actor replied, “That I’m popular among rapid-fire shows”

Fans of the actor feel he was referring to Koffee With Karan season 7’s recent episode which featured Sara Ali Khan and Jahnvi Kapoor. One fan commented on the video, “The same question should be asked to Karan.” Another fan wrote, “Did he mean the Ranveer thing or the Sara answer on KWK?”

Speaking about his popularity on the latest season of the show, Kartik had said earlier, “I am fine with anything. I am happy that jahaan pe bhi jo bhi baatein chalti rehti hain bas positive tareeke se chalein. (I am happy as long as the conversations about me are positive).”

On the work front, Kartik Aaryan has signed a project with Sajid Nadiadwala’s production house. Kabir Khan will helm it. He will be also seen in Freddy opposite Alaya F and in Hansal Mehta’s Captain India.
