Did Malaika Arora get upset on seeing ‘Khan’ on her name tag at an event?

Last week, Malaika Arora and Arbaaz Khan ended their 18-year-old marriage as they got a divorce legally in a court. Post her divorce, the actress has dropped “Khan” from her surname and is now addressed as Malaika Arora. Well, we have heard that their divorce was on amicable terms, and the child’s custody is with the mother. However, it seems like Malaika is not at all ready to even see Arbaaz’s surname associated with her. Reports suggest that she was upset with “Khan” being used on her name tag at a recent event.

Malaika had been at an event in Vadodara as the chief guest and according to reports in Spotboye, when she landed at the event, she noticed that her name tag read as Malaika Arora Khan. She got upset about it and expressed her displeasure over “Khan” not being taken off and made it evident to the organisers too. Reports state that she told the event organisers that they remove the surname before the event kickstarts. Soon an official came and tore the “Khan” from the tag and it read as Malaika Arora only. It was only after this that she agreed to be a part of the event.

While we don’t know how far these reports are true, but one thing is for sure, that the two continue to remain good friends post the divorce.
