Did Ranveer Singh shut down the trolls by sharing lip lock pic with Deepika Padukone?

Gehraiyaan was released on February 11 and people have been loving it. Even Deepika Padukone’s husband and actor Ranveer Singh loved her performance in the film that he even penned a post about it. Ranveer took to his Instagram and dropped a steamy picture with Deepika Padukone and the internet couldn’t keep calm. Fans started pouring in love while some thought that he is recreating the Gehraiyaan lip-lock scene. In the monochrome picture, Ranveer and Deepika are seen sharing a passionate kiss amidst the blue ocean. However, there were some fans who thought that it might be Ranveer’s way of shutting down trolls who criticised Deepika after Gehraiyaan trailer was released. 

For the unversed, after the trailer was released, there were many who criticised the Chhapaak actor for the intimate scenes with Siddhant Chaturvedi in the film. Many wanted to know if Padukone’s husband Ranveer Singh was okay with the intimate moments in the movie. Trolls even asked if Ranveer Singh was okay with Deepika’s kisses in Gehraiyaan. But his latest monochrome picture says it all and can put every question to rest.

Sharing the picture with his fans, Ranveer even praised his wifey and her performance in the film as he wrote, “Doobey…haan doobey…  Ek dooje mein yahaan…Tour de force Transcendent, superlative and sublime!  What an absolute masterclass of a performance, baby! Such fine, nuanced and heartfelt artistry! … at your consummate and peerless best in this one! You make me so proud! @deepikapadukone  #gehraiyaan”

In an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble, Padukone spoke about trolls reaction and said, “It’s stupid that we’re even reacting to it.” The leggy lass even shared that she feels it is stupid that a troll even asked if she sought permission from Ranveer to do the movie. Deepika further continued, “I think, for us, that’s the most important thing. I don’t read comments. I’m pretty certain even he doesn’t. And, I think. Yuck! It just feels so stupid.”
