Did Shah Rukh Khan confirm his teaming up with director Aanand L. Rai for his next project?

The year 2016 will see ‘Baadshah’ Shah Rukh Khan working with filmmakers who are known for producing good quality films in Bollywood. This association will begin with Maneesh Sharma’s ‘Fan’ following with Rahul Dholakia’s ‘Raees’ and Gauri Shinde’s ‘Walk & Talk.’ Working with a talented bunch of directors like them, his fans were expecting him to unite with one more filmmaker known for his content-driven films.

It is Aanand L. Rai, known for movies like ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ series and ‘Raanjhanaa’ in Bollywood. There were speculations coming in since past few months that SRK may team up with this talented director on his next project.

But no confirmation was done by the Star and director.

Recently, after various rumours were heard regarding the casting, Shah Rukh Khan gave a hint that he may work with Aanand soon. This clarification was done during a live video chat where the Superstar was conversing with his fans. One of them asked that whether he is working with the ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ filmmaker.

SRK replied, “We have almost done a final discussion, Aanand is a very good friend and I am in talks with him since long, hopefully, we’ll have one film.”

Now, that’s a pretty good news for all to see both of them collaborating together.
