After a very long break, Sunny Deol appeared on the Silver Screen with the second instalment of his 1990’s hit film ‘Ghayal.’ The movie titled ‘Ghayal Once Again’ finally made it to the theatres on February 5, 2016 after suffering from several delays due to various reasons. The movie, unfortunately, proved to be an average at the box-office but, it did help Sunny re-establish himself in the Industry as an actor.
At this junction, Sunny’s risk to feature as the solo hero in a film is surely commendable. He is now in the media glare with interacting with the media over his successful comeback. In one such interview, Sunny shared his thoughts about his contemporaries especially Anil Kapoor who now mostly takes up supporting roles in the films. When asked whether Sunny would do such characters like that of Anil Kapoor in ‘Dil Dhadakne Do,’ he had a very strong opinion to share. She said, “I wouldn’t do characters where I didn’t have much to do. I wouldn’t enjoy it. I don’t want to be part of a film where I am just thrown in. I like to be very definite about whatever I do. That’s why I did Damini. I just did that character because he did his bit and then went away. He is not taking away from the hero, he just does his thing and leaves. I prefer doing such roles and I have to enjoy it on the floor, not that ke chalo karlo iske saath, aisa karlo… woh mujhe karna baada mushkil hota hai.”
Okay, we get it Sunny but, we aren’t sure whether Anil Kapoor would be happy with this answer or not!
