Did you know Kiara Advani auditioned for Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha?

Kiara Advani is one of the most loved actresses in Bollywood. She recently delivered a terrific performance in SatyaPrem Ki Katha co-starring Kartik Aaryan. Post SatyaPrem Ki Katha’s success, Kiara, in a recent interview, recalled auditioning for Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer Laal Singh Chaddha. The actress didn’t reveal the role she had auditioned for but admitted that she must have been ‘terrible’.

During an interview with Film Companion, Kiara Advani was asked if she is ready to audition for a role and she said, “Yes, absolutely.”

The actress added, “In fact, I also auditioned for Laal Singh Chaddha. At that time I didn’t know it was for Laal Singh Chaddha. I really don’t want to see that audition though. I really must have been terrible. It was many many years ago.”

Adding to that, Kiara said, “Casting is such an important part of filmmaking. The right cast can add so much value. It’s not about who’s a better actor. But it’s about who’s better suited for the part. It’s always teamwork and it’s so important to get the right cast for a film. And it’s absolutely wonderful to audition, great to know if you are suited for the part.”

For the uninitiated, Kareena also had to give an audition to bag a role in Laal Singh Chadha. She played Rupa whereas Aamir was seen as Lal Singh.

Aamir and Kareena starrer Laal Singh Chaddha was directed by Advait Chandan. Laal Singh Chaddha was a remake of the Hollywood film Forrest Gump which starred Tom Hanks and Robin Wright. The film did not work well at the box office. However, it received a good response when it released on Netflix.

On the other hand, Kiara will be next seen in Game Changer opposite Ram Charan. There are also reports that she has a cameo in Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan. Reportedly, she has a special dance number in the upcoming film.
