Bollywood brides often chose unique yet beautiful lehengas for their big wedding day. They are either seen adding a personal touch to it or making it so crafty that it takes thousands of hours to brand it. Well, one such bride is Kiara Advani whose lehenga has a unique touch. Speaking of which, just recently, Kiara shared a few pictures of her sangeet ceremony with her husband Sidharth Malhotra on her Instagram.
For the pre-wedding festivities, Kiara Advani picked a heavily embellished gold lehenga from the collections of Manish Malhotra. But did you know the lehenga took 4000 hours to craft it? That’s right. Some time back, the ace designer shared how the lehenga was made. Furthermore, he also revealed that the lehenga had 98000 sparkling Swarovski crystals.
Kiara Advani in gold lehenga:
Manish Malhotra wrote, “Our stunning bride @kiaraaliaadvani embraces extravagant glamour in our artistic ombre lehenga, personalised to make more than just a statement, featuring meticulous handwork that took 4000 hours to craft. A striking gold to silver transition, 98000 sparkling Swarovski crystals are paired with our haute couture stole with marabou feather detailing.”
Speaking about the jewellery, Manish said, “The custom look was paired with a captivating neckpiece in a careful curation of natural diamonds and a colossally enchanting ruby pendant from the Manish Malhotra High Jewellery collection.”
Talking about the groom, the Shershaah actor opted for a velvet sherwani with black and gold delicate work on it. Malhotra wrote, “Our striking groom @sidmalhotra chose majestic charm, wearing a tailor-made velvet sherwani in a stark combination of black and gold. Crafted with intricate threadwork and precious swarovski crystals the A-symmetrical kurta reveals a subtle twist exploring the perfect balance between cultural roots, and cutting-edge aesthetics.”
Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani got married on February 7 this year in Rajasthan.
