Neetu Kapoor makes her comeback with the movie JugJugg Jeeyo that is scheduled to release in theatres on June 24, Friday. Ahead of the release, the actor was busy promoting her movie in full swing. During the promotions of JugJugg Jeeyo, Neetu Kapoor recalled some memories from her wedding day, with late husband, actor Rishi Kapoor.

Did you know Neetu Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor had fainted before their wedding? The JugJugg Jeeyo actress recalled the incident during an interview recently and made the revelation. Neetu revealed that Rishi Ji and she had panicked when they saw the number of people who were attending their wedding. She went on to share that they fainted after watching the number of attendees. Kapoor mentioned she was even drunk while Rishi Ji and she took their pheras.

Speaking with Swiggy’s YouTube channel, the JugJugg Jeeyo actress recalled her wedding day and how the number of guests left Rishi Ji and her uncomfortable. She said, “When we were getting married, I fainted, and my husband also fainted. We both fainted. I fainted because there were too many people, and my husband was petrified of crowds, so before getting on to the horse he fainted. So he was having brandy. I was having brandy. So that’s how our wedding was, I was drunk when I was taking the pheras.”

Neetu Kapoor also shared that there were also pickpocketers at her wedding. She revealed she got gifts that had rocks and slippers inside. The actress shared that the pickpocketers were dressed as guests and crashed the wedding party.

Rishi Kapoor and the JugJugg Jeeyo actress tied the knot on January 22, 1980. They got married at the Kapoor family’s famous home in Chembur- RK House.
