Jawan actor Shah Rukh Khan is known for his generosity and kind heart. But that nature of his doesn’t limit to real life only. He is as giving when it comes to his work as well. Giving one such example of his generosity, Jawan editor Antony L Ruben narrated a story from the film.
Shah Rukh Khan wanted to cut his scenes in Jawan
After the roaring success of Jawan at the box office, the film’s team held a press conference in the city on Friday. At the event, Ruben shared that during editing of the film, SRK told him to cut his scenes and give more footage to the girls and Vijay Sethupathi.
He shared, “For a star like him, he is the producer, he can take any control over the film. But he was very generous to say that please cut my scenes and whatever shot of mine and please give it to the other actors. Give it to the girls, give it to the villain. He was focusing on the villain and I was so surprised.”
Ruben shared how his experience with SRK was completely different from any other actor he interacted with. He said, “I don’t usually interact with actors. I find it a little uncomfortable when they get friends with us and then they want to hold our mouse and do the work. He (SRK) was like very easy to me. Every time I went to interact with him, I learnt something new. It’s nothing about cinema. I learnt how to love, how to be patient and all that. I wish I had few shots of mine in the movie which I could have generously given to him. He is love.” This just goes to show how big King Khan’s heart is.
