Did you spot THIS connection between Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan and Chak De India?

After the makers of Jawan released the new song Not Ramaiya Vastavaiya, eagle-eyed fans spotted a connection between his upcoming film and Chak De! India.

Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan is making headlines for all the right reasons. The makers of Jawan are all set to release the trailer of the film tomorrow (Aug 31). Ahead of that, Jawan makers dropped a new song ‘Not Ramaiya Vastavaiya’ on Tuesday. The music video featuring SRK and Nayanthara was an absolute treat to the eyes. Now, a few eagle-eyed fans noticed a connection between Jawan song Not Ramaiya Vastavaiya and King Khan’s earlier film Chak De! India.

In Chak De! India, King Khan played the role of a coach and absolutely nailed it. The actor had won hearts with his performance as the coach of a woman’s hockey team.

Fans spot connection between Jawan and Chak De! India

Coming back to the connection, Jawan’s Not Ramaiya Vastavaiya’s music video has a scene where SRK and his gang of girls are seen walking with guns in hands, reminiscent of a similar scene in SRK’s Chak De! India. In the scene from Chak De! India, King Khan is seen walking with the hockey team.

A fan who noticed the connection shared a video and wrote, “From Chak De India to Jawan, we came a long way (fire emojis) #NotRamaiyaVastavaiya.”

Well, this also reminded us of SRK’s answer about his character in Jawan. A few days ago, SRK hosted an ‘AskSRK’ session on Twitter and was asked about his character in Jawan. When asked, “Can you tease us with one word that best describes the journey your character goes through in the film #AskSRK.” To this, he responded saying, “No tease, the one word that drives the movie is ‘Women’ it’s a film about women made for men!! Hope all the Mass and Class.”

The trailer of Jawan will release tomorrow. The upcoming film also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra and Priyamani. Deepika Padukone has a cameo in the film. Directed by Atlee, it will release on 7^th September, 2023.
