Actress Digangana Suryavanshi who’s popular for her roles in the films ‘Jalebi’, and ‘FryDay’ recently launched an Instagram filter to help spread awareness about climate change. Several Bollywood celebrities have come forward to raise awareness about global warming and climate change.
Talking about her newly launched filter, she says, “The only reason I’ve done this original filter is because climate change and global warming is a real issue, and everything that’s going haywire in nature on earth is because of us! Tiny steps that we make towards helping nature can make a huge difference”. The filter looks aesthetics with greenery on one side, and the globe on fire on the left side; with a circular badge that reads Digangana’s words, ‘Let’s help our planet breathe. Let’s make it green’.
The actress also shares how one should make the correct use of social media, and make it a powerful tool to help combat climate change, and spread awareness about global warming. “I’m using my social media platform to help spread awareness,” she adds.
Digangana has always been considerate towards the environment and has even raised voice against the killing of innocent animals. She says, “I think it’s time we genuinely care for animals, not just to flaunt! Right from individual responsibility to having programmes that could help animals is a must right now! We’re in the midst of nature’s call and the least that can be done is realising that we need a serious change! Killing animals for flesh and their trading is absolutely wrong! We need a serious change”.
