Dilip Kumar’s youngest brother Ehsan Khan dies of Covid-19

Legendary actor Dilip Kumar’s brothers, Ehsan and Aslam Khan were admitted at the Lilavati Hospital on August 15. Later both of them had tested positive for Covid-19. Dilip’s younger brother Aslam lost his battle to the deadly virus and passed away after a few days of hospitalization on August 21. Now, Dilip’s youngest brother Ehsan too breathed this last earlier today.

According to a statement by doctor Jalil Parkar who was treating Dilip’s brothers, Ehsan had other age-related health issues that also were the reason for his death. The doctor said, “He was the younger brother of Dilip Kumar who also had comorbidities like IHD, hypertension and Alzheimer’s.”

Statement on Dilip Kumar’s Twitter handle reads, “Dilip Saab’s youngest brother Ehsan Khan, passed away few hours ago. Earlier, youngest brother, Aslam had passed away. We are from God and to Him we return. Pls pray for them.”

Earlier talking about Aslam’s death, Dilip Kumar’s wife Saira Bau had said, “It is so unfortunate that Aslam bhai succumbed to the Coronavirus; we really don’t know how to cope with this loss. May Allah rest him in peace.”
