Dilip Kumar’s brothers Eshan and Aslam Khan test positive for Covid-19; rushed to hospital

Veteran actor Dilip Kumar’s brother Eshan and Aslam Khan have tested positive for Covid-19. They were rushed to hospital after they complained of breathlessness. According to a report in Hindustan Times, both Eshan and Aslam have been admitted to Lilavati hospital and have been provided with artificial breathing support.

The 98-year-old legendary actor Dilip Kumar’s real name is Muhammad Yusuf Khan. Reportedly his brothers are in their 80s. And per the same report, their oxygen saturation level has fallen below 80%. Both of them were admitted to the hospital on Saturday after they complained of breathlessness. Later their Covid-19 tests came positive and they were shifted to Covid-19 ward.

A doctor treating Eshan and Aslam told the daily, “They have been kept in ICU but we haven’t intubated them as yet. Considering their age and pre-condition health issues like diabetes and hypertension, we have to be extra careful while treating them.”

Dilip stays separately with his wife Saira Banu and apparently both of them are safe. Back in April, Dilip had urged his fans and followers to stay safe by staying indoor. “I urge you to #StayHomeSaveLives during this #COVID19pandemic Dawa bhi, dua bhi Auron se faslaa bhi Ghareeb ki khidmat Kamzor ki seva bhi(sic).”
