Veteran actor Dilip Kumar hospitalised; wife Saira Banu gives health update

Veteran actor Dilip Kumar has been hospitalised because of various health issues. The 98-year-old actor has had to get his regular health check-ups done and that his why he has been admitted to the hospital. Kumar is said to be discharged from the hospital on Sunday.

Dilip’s wife Saira gave a health update on her husband and said that he is recovering well and will be home soon, she told ETimes, “Dilip Kumar Saab is recovering well and will be discharged from the hospital tomorrow.”

Meanwhile, Dilip Kumar’s Brothers, Ehsan and Aslam Khan were admitted at the Lilavati Hospital on August 15 as they had tested Covid-19 positive. Unfortunately, both the brothers passed away and the entire family has been in mourning. But, Dilip has not been informed about his brothers’ deaths. Saira Banu has told Times of India, “To tell you the truth, Dilip saab has not been told that Aslam bhai and Ehsaan bhai are no more. We keep every kind of disturbing news away from him. We didn’t even tell him when Amitabh Bachchan contracted COVID-19 and was admitted in Nanavati Hospital; he’s very fond of Amitabh.”
