Dilip Kumar thanks everyone for their prayers and affection

Veteran actor Dilip Kumar had been admitted in the Lilavati Hospital on Saturday after complaining of chest congestion. The actor was diagnosed with pneumonia and the doctors decided the next 72 hours crucial for his well being. As the treatment went further, his wife Saira Banu posted about him recovering well, through releasing a note on the Thespian’s official Twitter account.

After his recovery and being in a stable condition, the actor took to his twitter account this morning to thank everyone for all the affection and love his fans gave him while his treatment was going on. He posted:

Apart from this, another good news is coming in that the actor will probably get a discharge from the Hospital on Tuesday. According to the manager of actress Saira Banu, Murshid Khan, Dilip Saab’s reports are normal and they are waiting for the doctors call to get him discharge by Tuesday.

Dilip Kumar was last seen in the film ‘Qila’ in 1998. He was awarded the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 1994 and the Padma Vibhushan in 2015.
