Writer Dilip Shukla confirms Salman Khan and Aamir Khan will star in ‘Andaz Apna Apna’ sequel

If you are a movie buff then Rajkumar Santoshi’s rom-com ‘Andaz Apna Apna’ starring Aamir Khan and Salman Khan definitely features in your ‘must watch’ films’ list. The film that released 25 years back is still loved by everyone. In fact, ‘Andaz Apna Apna’ has received a cult classic status. And guess what? After more than two decades its finally getting a sequel!

And the sequel will feature both the superstars Salman and Aamir. Now isn’t this the best piece of news that you came across today? Read on to know more details about the sequel.

Writer Dilip Shukla, who had penned the dialogues of ‘Andaz Apna Apna’, is currently working on Salman Khan’s ‘Dabangg 3’. Shukla in a recent interview with Deccan Chronicle has confirmed that the sequel of ‘Andaz Apna Apna’ is on the anvil. Talking about the sequel Shukla told the daily, “I am writing the sequel. It is not easy to pen a sequel. I have to bring something more attractive in comparison to the earlier one.”

He further added, “The sequel cannot be complete without Salman Khan and Aamir Khan. They will be there along with three other new cast members.” Shukla even revealed that the daughter of producer Vinay Sinha, Preeti Sinha has asked him to pen the sequel.

Earlier in April this year, Salman and Aamir had met Shah Rukh at his residence Mannat. Now we are wondering if they had met to discuss this sequel? So does that means Shah Rukh will also be a part of it? Well, you never know. Right now we are more than happy to learn about the sequel so if SRK comes on board it would be like the icing on the cake. Don’t you guys agree?
