Diljit Dosanjh joins Sunny Deol in Border 2; Ayushmann Khurrana & others in talks- Report

Actor Sunny Deol starrer Border 2 is currently in the pre-production stage and it looks like actor and singer Diljit Dosanjh will be joining the movie. According to PeepingMoon, Diljit has been roped in for the film; however, details about his character have not been revealed yet. The report mentioned that “Dosanjh is enthusiastic about the opportunity to play a real army officer and will soon begin his preparation to inhabit the role fully.”

Diljit joining the star cast is not surprising as he has worked with Anurag Singh in several movies before. They have teamed up for five films including two Jatt & Juliet movies, Disco Singh, Punjab 1984, and Super Singh. On the other hand, Ayushmann Khurrana has also reportedly been roped in for the movie casting; however, he has not confirmed yet. Moreover, Suniel Shetty’s son Ahan Shetty and Ammy Virk, who was recently seen in Bad Newz are also rumoured to be in the cast.

As per the report, Border 2 will be on the Battle of Longewala from the perspectives of all three wings of the Indian armed forces: the Army, Navy, and Air Force.
