In a video shared by a fan, Diljit Dosanjh expressed his frustration about the current state of infrastructure, saying, “I want to tell the designated authorities that India does not have the infrastructure for live shows. This is a significant revenue-generating area that provides livelihoods for many. Please focus on improving this sector.”
He further emphasized, “I will try to set up a stage in the middle with the crowd distributed around it to enhance the concert experience. Until improvements are made here, I will not perform shows in India. Instead of causing us difficulties, focus on enhancing the infrastructure.”
Diljit’s concerts faced backlash after tickets were allegedly resold at exorbitant prices, leading some to accuse him of black-marketing. In response to these claims, the singer expressed disappointment over the accusations, clarifying that he is not associated with any ticket scalping activities and that if tickets are being sold at inflated prices, there’s little an artist can do about it.
