Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dilwale’ gets Rohit Shetty a felicitation from the Indian embassy in Bulgaria

Filmmaker Rohit has made some of the greatest superhit movies in recent times. Rohit had quite a pleasant Independence day this year as he received a lovely surprise. The Indian Embassy in Bulgaria felicitated him. He was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation for helping boost tourism in Bulgaria.

Rohit was felicitated since Bulgaria had seen a boost of 23 percent in their tourism. The director took to his Instagram to share a clip from his felicitation. He poured his heart out in the caption, “This is what you call the Power of Indian Cinema. Last year Bulgaria saw 23% rise of Indian tourists after Dilwale. Feeling blessed and honoured to be felicitated by the Indian Embassy in Bulgaria that too on such a Prestigious Day.”

‘Diwale’ starred Shah Rukh Khand and Kajol along with Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon. A lot of sequences of the movie were shot in Bulgaria whereas some others were shot in Goa.  Rohit is currently in Bulgaria filming for ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ season 10.

After ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 10’, Rohit Shetty will start working on ‘Sooryavanshi’. It featured Akshay Kumar in the lead role. The collaboration will be their first project together and the film is set to release next year in March.
