Director Amole Gupte, known for films like ‘Stanley Ka Dabba’ and ‘Hawaa Hawaai’, is reportedly working on two films revolving around children.
“He (Gupte) is working on his next film ‘Sniff’ with children which will start rolling soon. Besides, he has another film ‘Tum Rahe Na Tum, Hum Rahe Na Hum’,” a source said.
“For ‘Tum Rahe Na Tum, Hum Rahe Na Hum’, he requires a child actor and two A-list actors – a hero and heroine,” the insider added.
The filmmaker is yet to take a call on casting. If things are in place for the project, the shoot for the project will likely begin later this year.
Gupte penned 2007 hit ‘Taare Zameen Par’ which was a film about young boy Ishaan suffering from dyslexia.
His next film, ‘Stanley Ka Dabba’, featured his son Partho. It was about a child, who does not carry a tiffin box.
The father-son duo combined for ‘Hawaa Hawaai’ in 2014, which was a story of a rural boy and his dream to become a champion skater.
