Disha Patani: After ‘Bharat’, I don’t know if I’ll ever get to work with Salman Khan

Disha Patani is one of the most gorgeous looking actresses we have in today’s time. Any actor would give out a limb just to romance her onscreen for the length of a movie. However, Disha herself feels lucky to have received an opportunity to work with Salman Khan. Not only that, she even feels that she might never get that chance again in her life.

During a one-on-one with Mumbai Mirror, Disha Patani opened up about how things fell in place for ‘Bharat’. She said, “Ali sir (director Ali Abbas Zafar) called me with a role which is more of a special appearance. I heard him out and since the character is that of a trapeze artiste alongside Salman sir, I came on board. Honestly, I don’t know if I will ever get to work with Salman sir again. Even Ali sir told me this while narrating the script.”

When prodded on why she feels she won’t get to work with Salman Khan again, she said to Mumbai Mirror, “Obviously because of the age difference between us. In ‘Bharat’, it is acceptable because that portion shows Salman sir in his 20s and 30s so, it was an immediate “yes”. He is a wonderful human being and very hard-working. I got to learn a lot from him. That aside, ‘Bharat’ is special because I had never done a film set in a different era.”

Well, it’s true that the age difference between the two is massive. But Salman Khan manages to look young even opposite Disha Patani. That’s the charm of the true blue superstar.

After ‘Bharat’, Disha Patani will next be seen in ‘Malang’ and then there is a film with Kartik Aaryan. Once done with all these, she will get busy with ‘Sanghamitra’, which is said to be the next ‘Baahubali’.
