Disha Patani’s team reacts to the reports of her father testing Coronavirus positive 

More than four months now, the pandemic Coronavirus brought everything to a standstill. While the outspread is not yet fully contained, a sharp rise in the total number of cases was witnessed in the past few days. On Thursday i.e August 6 several reports went viral stating, Bollywood actress, Disha Patani’s father testing positive for COVID-19 infection. However, the actress’ team apparently has refuted these reports.

Disha Patani’s father, Jagdish Singh Patani is a deputy SP in the vigilance unit of the state power department. Post the reports goes viral, the statement has been issued clearly denying him having tested positive for the virus. According to the statement, her father is absolutely ‘fine’ and they have also urged people to stop spreading wrong information.

For the unversed, the previous reports had stated that the actresses father along with two more officers were tested positive for COVID-19 infection. Following the confusion, the zonal chief engineer’s office has also been closed for the next two days. Apparently, the additional CMO Ashok Kumar revealed that the three officers, who came from Lucknow, have tested positive and they were reportedly investigating a transformer scam.
