Disha Salian Death: Police not sure whether it was a suicide or an accident

Sushant Singh Rajput and Varun Sharma’s ex-manager Disha Salian died on June 9. She allegedly committed suicide by jumping off a building in Mumbai after which she was rushed to a hospital in Borivali, where she was declared dead. But now as per an investigation by the Mumbai Police, the cause of death is still uncertain. As per a report by Mumbai Mirror, the Malvani police have registered an accidental death report in the matter. According to the police, Disha had come to Malad from Dadar (where she lived with parents) with some friends on Monday. They came for dinner at actor Rohan Rai’s flat in Jankalyan Nagar, Malad West.

Senior Inspector Jagdev Kalapad of Malvani police station told the publication, “There were six friends in all. They were drinking after dinner. Disha Salian, who was also tipsy, walked to the window of the apartment from where she fell down around 1 am on Tuesday.” He said that police was informed about it at 2:25 am.

The police also recorded Disha’s parents’ statements. “They don’t suspect any foul play. They also told us that Disha had been anxious about her future for a while. We are yet to record the statements of Disha’s friends present in the flat at the time. Because of her intoxicated state, we cannot say for sure whether it was a suicide or an accident,” said the police officer.

Meanwhile, Sushant Singh Rajput, Varun Sharma, Bharti Singh and other celebs have mourned the death of Disha.
