This Diwali, choose #PoochOverPataka just like Alia Bhatt

Yes, it is a festival of lights, but when did Diwali became all about noise pollution? Crackers play a major role in the celebrations of Diwali, but now it is time to change. Not just humans, animals are suffering too and it is time that we take charge of the environment. Alia Bhatt too is promoting this cause with her campaign #PoochOverPataka. She has uploaded a video on Instagram wherein she has urged everyone to let animals live in peace.She has captioned the video as, “This Diwali, I choose to #PoochOverPataka. Do you? ??”. [sic]

We so agree with her here. Promoting this good cause, Shraddha Kapoor too shared a video of herself playing with her dog and has shared a message that we should not buy firecrackers and create noise pollution.

A few years back, Anushka Sharma had started with a movement called ‘PAWsitive’ on Twitter wherein she had advocated the same message. Let’s make Diwali happy for animals too, is what she was promoting.

Well, it’s time to make earth a better place to live, not just for humans, but for animals too.
