Esha Gupta on Sajid Khan: Don’t question the integrity of a woman

‘Housefull 4’ director Sajid Khan is the latest filmmaker to join the lengthy list of Bollywood celebrities who have been accused of sexual harassment in Bollywood. Sajid Khan is the brother of choreographer turned director Farah Khan. After being accused by three women of sexual misconduct, various Bollywood celebs have condemned Sajid Khan’s actions.

The ‘Humshakals’ actress Esha Gupta was rumoured to be dating Sajid Khan during the shoot of the film. However, the actress has always said that she was not in a relationship with the ‘Humshakals’ director Sajid Khan.  Now, the actress took to her Twitter account and wrote, “Karma“. The word was posted in context of the current scenario of Bollywood, where several actors have been accused of being harassed by big Bollywood personalities.

Further, she went on to tweet, “Sexual harassment shouldn’t be tolerated, or sending dirty texts or passing lewd comments or verbal abuse. don’t question the integrity of a woman as to why she spoke now, stand with her for the courage it took to speak.”

Since the time Tanushree Dutta has spoken up about her #MeToo story which happened in 2008 on the sets of ‘Horn Ok Pleasss’, several other celebs have joined the debate on sexual harassment in Bollywood.
