Earlier this month, Dot made her acting debut with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies which also starred Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, Agastya Nanda, Mihir Ahuja, Vedang Raina, and Yuvraj Menda. The Archies received a good response from audiences, as well as critics alike. Talking about Dot, in particular, she played the role of Ethel Muggs in the same and won many hearts. Following the release of the film, Dot sat down for an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble and spoke about her character, bond with co-stars, and a lot more.
Dot opens up on her bond with Suhana and Khushi
When asked about her bond with Suhana and Khushi, Dot said, “It was lovely. Me, Suhana, Khushi, Santana (Roach), and Dia, who play Midge and Cheryl in, so all five of us were the girl gang and we actually did skating together. Just us because the boys didn’t have to skate. So, we spent a lot of time on the skating ground, falling on our butts and having a laugh. Later, we’d meet up for coffee or go to someone’s house and talk about it. So, that was really special.”
Dot reveals unknown secrets of Agastya, Yuvraj, Vedang, and Mihir
When asked who she had the best equation with amongst the boys, Dot responded saying, “Everybody in different ways.” Furthermore, she revealed unknown secrets of her co-stars Agastya, Mihir, Yuvraj, and Vedang. Talking about Agastya, she said, “He is a big softie. He just wants to have fun and he is really welcoming and generous.”

Dot went on to add, “Mihir is very sensitive. He’s someone I really respect because of his journey from where to where. Vedang is extremely intelligent and you can have great conversations with him and he’s very curious about the world. And of course, Yuvraj is such a brave guy.” Dot went on to add that Yuvraj is ‘wise beyond his years’.
For the uninitiated, Suhana played the role of Veronica Lodge and Khushi Kapoor impressed us as Betty Cooper. On the other hand, Agastya played the role of Archie Andrews, Yuvraj was Dilton Doiley, Vedang as Reggie Mantle, and Mihir played Jughead.
The Archies released on December 7, on Netflix. Bollywood Bubble gave The Archies ‘3.5’ stars. A part of the review read, “If you’re looking for a feel-good movie this weekend then The Archies is the one for you. What more? It also has some brilliant performances, heartwarming love stories and music to die for. The makers have given the American comic an Indian touch to strike the right chord while exuding retro vibes with a touch of quirk and well, it’s a win-win for everyone.”
