‘Dream Girl’: Ayushmann Khurrana reveals all about his role in the comedy drama

Actor Ayushmann Khurrana has had a good year with some back to back hit flicks, from ‘Andhadhun’ to ‘Badhaai Ho’ in 2018. Looks like he is all set to do the same in 2019. Ayushmann will next be seen in ‘Dream Girl’ and has recently opened up on his character in the comedy-drama.

As reported by Bollywood Hungama, Ayushmann will be seen wearing a saree in the film. The story of the movie is all about a guy who plays Sita in Ram Leela.

Ayushmann further added that, “Traditionally, in our country, we have all seen guys playing Sita, so I’m one of those. He has the unique talent of taking out voices of both male and female. It’s like a full-on commercial film.”

The makers of the film had unveiled a quirky first poster of ‘Dream Girl’ in which we could see Ayushmann donning a sari while sitting on a bike.

It was reported that Ayushmann will be seen experimenting with his voice and speak in three different styles – Hindi, Haryanvi and Braj Bhasha (Mathura style of Hindi).

The ‘Vicky Donor’ star will be sharing screen space with actress Nushrat Bharucha in Raaj Shaandilyaa’s comedy-drama. ‘Fukrey’ actor Manjot Singh is the latest addition to the family and is quite excited to share screen space with Khurranna.

‘Dream Girl’ is being co-produced by Ekta Kapoor and is slated to hit the theatres by the end of 2019.
