‘Dream Girl’ Ayushmann Khurrana’s take on #SareeTwitter is breaking the internet

In the ever-so-interesting world of social media, while half of the users are smitten by the ‘FaceAppChallenge’, we also have others who are happily participating in #SareeTwitter trend. And if you thought that only actresses are using the #SareeTwitter to share their pictures in the beautiful Indian attire, then you are completely wrong.

Ayushmann Khurrana who is known for always thinking out of the box gave his personal touch to the trend by sharing his picture in a Saree. Yes, Ayushmann is good at draping the six yards of pure grace as well. Don’t believe us? Well then check out his post below.

For the uninitiated, by using the #SareeTwitter people are simply sharing their pictures clad in saree. While we mostly saw women using this hashtag, it was a pleasant surprise to see Ayushmann share this lovely picture.

Coming back to his film ‘Dream Girl’, it’s a romantic-comedy helmed by Raaj Shaandilya. Ayushmann will be seen in and as ‘Dream Girl’ in the film. Earlier talking about the film, Ayushmann had shared, “The film is about a guy who plays Sita in Ram Leela. Traditionally, in our country, we have all seen guys playing Sita, so I’m one of those. He has the unique talent of taking out voices of both male and female. It’s like a full-on commercial film.” 

Interestingly with this film, Ayushmann will be reuniting with his ‘Vicky Donor’ co-star Annu Kapoor. ‘Dream Girl’ also stars Nushrat Bharucha and Manjot Singh in a pivotal role. It is slated to hit the silver screens on September 13.
