Today marks a dual celebration of Ashtami and Navami, and our beloved Bollywood stars are revelling in the festivities with their families. Numerous pictures and videos have emerged on social media featuring B-town celebrities like Prateik Babbar with fiance Priya Banerjee, Rupali Ganguly, Bhagyashree, Sharvari, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Sumona Chakravarti, Jaya Bachchan, Karan Singh Grover and Bipasha Basu were spotted seeking blessings at the Durga Puja pandal.

This North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja pandal is hosted by the families of Rani Mukerji, Kajol, and Ayan Mukerji, who are all cousins. Popular Bollywood stars such as Alia Bhatt, Rani Mukerji, Karan Singh Grover, Bipasha Basu and others were spotted. Read on to know more

Ajay Devgn with son Yug and wife Kajol

Kajol was spotted at the Durga puja with her Singham husband, Ajay Devgn and son Yug Devgn. Both the father and son were spotted twinning in Indigo blue kurtas while Kajol draped a lovely purple and pink coloured saree. What caught our attention was the playful banter in the family, be it Kajol pinching Ajay or Yug enjoying a playful moment with his father. Ajay Devgn was seen wearing a foot healer, could this injury be due to shooting Singham Again?

Alia Bhatt with sister Shaheen Bhatt

Jigra star Alia Bhatt was spotted with her sister. Alia draped a red tissue silk saree with golden sequins and mirrorwork on the border. Shaheen opted for a flowy yellow-coloured anarkali with mirrorwork all over it. Both the Bhatt sisters looked extremely gorgeous.

Rani Mukerji

Rani Mukerji stole the show as she completed her Ashtami-Nabami look in a heavy red coloured saree with golden work. She wore kaanpasha on her ears accentuating her Bengali look, along with shakha-pola and golden kangan. Rani opted for kajal and simple makeup for the day event.

Jaya Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan Nanda

Veteran actress Jaya Bachchan and daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda were also present at the Durga Puja pandal. Jaya Bachchan was seen draped in a cream-coloured silk saree with a red necklace. Shweta chose to drape a white base multicoloured Dhakai saree with silver earrings and multicoloured bangles.

Sharvari Wagh

The Munjya star Sharvari was spotted keeping s simple look at Durga Puja. She chose to wear a sky blue coloured kurti and palazzo set with a complementary net dupatta. Sharvari opted for a pair of silver earrings and fingering.

Bhagyashree

Bhagyashree who is popularly known for her film Maine Pyaar Kiya with Salman Khan was also seen at the pandal. She chose a cream-coloured silk saree with a golden and red border and draped it in Bengali style. The actress wore diamond bangles, earrings, a necklace and a maangtika that accentuated her look.

Rupali Ganguly

Anupama fame Rupali Ganguly was seen attending Durga Puja at Juhu. She chose to drape a light pink coloured saree with sequin work and embroidery. Ganguly accentuated her look with shakha pola and matching sunglasses.

Sumona Chakravarti

Sumona Chakravarti has been spotted very regularly at this Durga Puja pandal. She has also been seen performing in the festivities and dhunuchi naach. Sumona draped a red Benarasi saree with diamond jewellery. She opted for a middle-part low bun with gajra.

Prateik Babbar and Priya Banerjee

Prateik Babbar was seen with his fiance Priya Banerjee at the Durga puja pandal. Babbar was spotted wearing a black coloured bandhgala kurta with matching trousers. Priya draped a yellow coloured saree with black designs, she opted for a low bun with a gajra.

Bipasha Basu, Karan Singh Grover and daughter Devi

Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover were seen at Durga puja. They arrived with their adorable munchkin Devi. Basu was seen draped in a light blue Benarasi saree, wore chandbalis and shakha pola accentuating her look and opted for a low bun with white flowers. Karan was seen in a white kurta-pyjama with a charcoal black Nehru coat. The couple’s daughter, Devi was spotted in a red-coloured net lehenga. Mommy Bipasha was seen clicking pictures of Devi while Karan ensured she was safe while running on the stage.

On Saptami, Ranbir Kapoor was also spotted visiting the pandal. Other celebrities such as Vatsal Sheth and Ishita Dutta were also seen seeking blessings on Thursday. For those unaware, the celebrations will wrap up on October 12 with the traditional Sindoor Khela.
