Dwayne Johnson on Priyanka-Nick’s relation: If they’re happy, I take credit

Our day isn’t complete unless there’s a news on Priyanka Chopra and her alleged beau, Nick Jonas. Arguably, they have become one of the most talked about couple all over the world! Where there are a number of questions regarding how they met, how they actually fell in love, will they get married, here we have clarity on one thing at least. That question is who brought them together? And no, it isn’t destiny, it’s her ‘Baywatch’ co-star Dwayne Johnson!

‘The Rock’, has revealed himself that he played the matchmaker for Priyanka and Nick, as per reports on etonline.com. When he was asked about Priyanka and Nick’s relationship, Johnson first had a question to ask. “Are they happy?”.

Once told that the couple was happy, Dwayne confirmed, “I did it, yes. If they’re happy. Well then, I take credit. ‘Baywatch’ and ‘Jumanji’.” The ‘Baywatch’ and ‘Jumanji’ reference here is about his movies. Dwayne has worked with Priyanka in ‘Baywatch’ and with Nick in ‘Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle’.

So, here we go, at least now we know that it was because of Dwayne that Priyanka and Nick met. But we still wanna know, how did things escalate further, don’t you?

Anyway, Priyanka is currently in India, sans Nick, for the shoot of her Bollywood project, ‘Bharat’ which also stars Salman Khan, Disha Patani, and others. She has also signed her second Bollywood film and recently revealed about it on Instagram. The film is tentatively titled, ‘The Sky is Pink’ and will be directed by Shonali Bose and also star Farhan Akhtar. Read more about it here.
