‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’ Mid-Ticket Review: Rajkummar Rao shines bright with his stupendous performance

The first half of ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’ sees Rajkummar Rao shine bright with his stupendous performance. He is immensely likeable and effortless as always. This is not to say that Anil Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor and Juhi Chawla are far behind. That said, the movie is not without its faults. If it wasn’t for the lesbian angle, the movie would have been boring. There are too many preachy scenes, which break the flow of the story.

Sweety Choudhary (Sonam Kapoor) is the daughter of a rich businessman (Anil Kapoor), and everyone is looking forward to see her tie the knot. However, since she is a lesbian, she is not interested in getting married. It’s a secret that she has, and her brother is the only person who knows about it. He warns her that her orientation will create problems. For what happens next, you’ll have to see the film.
