Sonam Kapoor’s ‘ELKDTAL’ to release on this date- details inside

After riding high on the success of her last film ‘Veere Di Wedding’, Sonam Kapoor is getting back on the screen to woo us in ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’, directed by Shelly Chopra Dhar. While the character posters of the movie had been released a while back, the release date was yet to be out. However, the makers of Sonam, Rajkummar Rao and Anil Kapoor starrer want to keep the audiences in the loop until the movie releases and have recently announced the release date.

Sonam Kapoor took to her Twitter handle for the big announcement and wrote, “#EkLadkiKoDekhaTohAisaLaga, releasing on February 1st, 2019. Don’t forget the date! @AnilKapoor @RajkummarRao @iam_juhi @foxstarhindi @VVCFilms #RajkumarHiraniFilms.”

Produced by Rajkumar Hirani Films and Vidhu Vinod Films, ‘ELKDTAL’ will mark Sonam Kapoor and her dad Anil Kapoor’s union on the silver screen for the first time. The film that shares its title with Anil’s famous yesteryear romantic number from the film ‘1942: A Love Story’, also features Juhi in a prominent role.
