Prominent directors of Bollywood- Karan Johar, Zoya Akhtar, Anurag Kashyap and Dibaker Banerjee, who have delivered hits earlier, recently came together for a film. Titled, ‘Lust Stories’, the film is a contemporary take on real-life relationships through the lens of four women and their desires and it focusses on love, sex and everything in between! It had an official release on Netflix on June 15.
Till now, the movie has garnered a lot of appreciation from the audiences but the film has not gone well with Ekta Kapoor’s digital platform Alt Balaji. If you remember, Kapoor’s platform had launched a four-episode web-series ‘Gandi Baat’ with a similar concept. Claiming that the Netflix film has taken an inspiration from ‘Gandi Baat’, Alt Balaji’s team took a dig at them. (Also Read: ‘Lust Stories’ special screening was a star-studded event)
