Emraan Hashmi has been part of the film industry for two decades now but he has always maintained a distance. He is barely seen at parties and social events. Emraan has stuck to work and that has been his only focus. The Mumbai Saga actor recently opened up in an interview about why he has maintained a distance from the film industry and why he thinks Bollywood is fake. The actor is of an opinion that a person’s life should be more than just their profession.
In an interview with radio host Siddharth Kannan, Emraan was asked if he keeps his distance from the industry because he believes that Bollywood is fake. The actor agreed and replied, “Aisa toh hai (This is a fact). There are no two ways about it. That is the truth of our industry. But it is not just because of that. I think a person’s life should be more than just their profession.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Emraan will be seen next in Chehre. The movie also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Anu Kapoor, Rhea Chakraborty, Krystle D’Souza and many more. Chehre will hit the theatres on 30 April 2021. Apart from that, the actor will also be seen in Mumbai Saga, in which he will star opposite John Abraham. This Sanjay Gupta directorial will release on March 19, 2021.
