Emraan Hashmi and Amitabh Bachchan to come together for the first time

Emraan Hashmi has been in the film industry for over 15 years and it’s high time he began swimming in the big pool. After signing up with Shah Rukh Khan for a web show, Emraan is all set to be seen onscreen with Amitabh Bachchan.

The two superstars are set to share screen space for the first time together. They have never done so in their long careers, but have always been appreciative of each other’s work. It’s making us impatient to see the two come together onscreen. Trade expert Taran Adarsh took to social media to share the news. He wrote,”Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi team up for the first time… The thriller-mystery [not titled yet] will be directed by Rumi Jaffrey… Produced by @anandpandit63… Shooting begins May 2019… 21 Feb 2020 release (sic).”

The film will be directed by Rumi Jaffrey and is said to be a thriller-mystery. While Emraan is known for giving fans edge of the seat thrillers, Amitabh’s last release ‘Badla’ gave his fans ample opportunities to go gaga about his stellar acting skills. It will be quite interesting combination to see the two together.

The film will go on floors next month and is said to hit theatres on Feb 21, 2020.
