Emraan Hashmi, who was last seen in ‘Azhar’, a biopic on cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin, is back with the latest in the ‘Raaz’ franchise, a supernatural thriller named ‘Raaz Reboot‘. The actor is apparently playing the role of a ghost in the film. This will be the fourth film in the famous ‘Raaz’ franchise of Vishesh Films, previous ones being ‘Raaz’, ‘Raaz: The Mystery Continues’ and ‘Raaz 3D’.
The movie, which is directed by Vikram Bhatt, also marks the debut of Kriti Kharbanda, who will seen starring opposite Emraan. After the launch of the character posters and ‘Sound of Raaz’ last week, the makers have now launched the first motion poster, featuring Emraan Hashmi in his ghostly avatar. The haunting music in the video that was launched on T-Series official YouTube channel adds a spooky feel to the poster.
Speaking about his upcoming supernatural thriller, Emraan Hashmi said, “All I can I can say is that we’ve never seen a horror film like this. We shot in Romania for two months. It was an experience like nothing before. We were shooting at minus 15 degrees. It was desolate and eerie. And to top it all, we were doing a kind of horror plot that has never been attempted before. Was I scared? Yes, kind of. But after what I’ve gone through in life recently, nothing scares me anymore. Now we’re getting ready for its release on September 16.”
The film is all set to release on 16th September 2016.
