Watch Video: Emraan Hashmi comes on-board for SRK’s Netflix series ‘Bard Of Blood’

Emraan Hashmi has joined the cast of Netflix’s series ‘Bard Of Blood’. Produced under Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment, the series is an adaption of author Bilal Siddiqi’s book ‘The Bard Of Blood’.

The announcement was shared from the official Twitter handle of Netflix India with a caption, “God has given you one face and you make another. Emraan Hashmi is Kabir Anand in The Bard of Blood! @iamsrk @emraanhashmi @RedChilliesEnt.”

Emraan too expressed his joy, and wrote, “‘To be, or not to be’… The answer is to be. Ready ‘to be’ Kabir Anand. Excited to be a part of this thrilling journey !! ?. To which Shah Rukh Khan replied, “Be! Be! Welcome aboard my friend. Here’s to a journey full of excitement & drama.”

Talking about the series, ‘Bard Of Blood’ is set against the backdrop of the Indian subcontinent. The multilingual series will tell the story of an expelled spy, Kabir Anand, who is recalled from his new life as a Shakespeare professor in Panchgani to save his country and a long-lost love. A combination of combat skills, intellectual background and personal circumstances propel Kabir to avenge the past and face his deadliest enemies in a race against time.
