The gold and red brocade saree, woven in Benaras, was draped in a very different style and featured gold zari work. You can’t miss the thigh-skimming slit that revealed her sexy long legs. Shilpa certainly set the ramp ablaze with her overflowing oomph as she walked with confidence in those delicate gold pencil heels.

Exquisite affair

The makeup artist Mickey Contractor opted for a plum eyeshadow, kohled-eyes and nude lips that sobered down the otherwise-bright outfit. Apart from the gorgeous ensemble, the statement choker with rubies, pearls and diamonds stole the show. And that massive wedding ring! It’s forever gonna make us go ‘wow’. We particularly liked the one-shoulder blouse with a balloon sleeve that was fitted at the wrist.

And she sashays down the ramp

The middle-parted hair was let loose and had lovely finger waves that added a sensuous touch. And could we possibly not mention the saree trail? It gave the ethnic look a modern and glamorous twist.

For the love of Opera

The designer’s collection had elements of exuberant fabrics and free-flowing silhouettes, and the assortment of pieces featured lehengas, evening dresses, cocktail saris, evening gowns, crop tops and ball skirts.
